S.K.S. Public School

The foundation stone of the SKS Public School at Mangalpur, Raniganj was laid on Saturday, 23 June 2001. The school was inaugurated on Monday, 8 July 2002. The SKS Public School is a co-educational English Medium School, situated at Mangalpur. The school has a Ten acre green campus.

THE VISION

Mr. S. K. Sharma was inspired to establish the S.K.S. Educational and Social Trust in July 2000 to set up institutions of excellence for general and technical education. The Bengal College of Engineering and Technology at Bidhan Nagar in Durgapur started Courses in September 2001.

Image 3 AFFILIATION The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi for the All India Secondary School Examination at the end of Class-X and the All India Senior Secondary Examination at the end of Class-XII.

The emphasis in these classes will be on reading, writing, conversation, comprehension, reasoning, exploration and social skills. In the secondary school, the students will imbibe human values, cultural traditions, aesthetic appreciation, moral rectitude, physical education and learn all the courses leading to the CBSE examinations X and XII.
